Solution: Fencing Numbers
In Fencing Numbers, students were challenged to make a closed "fence" by connecting the dots in various 5 x 5 grids so that each space marked with a number was surrounded by that number of line segments. One possible solution for each problem is shown here. Problems one, two and four each have multiple solutions. Problem three has only the one solution shown.
