About Grade Spans
A narrow span of one or two grade levels provides the most relevant experience for teachers.
If this is not feasible, a broader grade span (e.g., K-5 or 6-9) is a cost-effective way of providing the essentials of hands-on teaching. If you need to address grade-specific issues or content within this format, we recommend splitting the day (e.g., K-2 morning and 3-5 afternoon).
