CALIFORNIA EARLY MATH INITIATIVE

A partnership between the AIMS Center, Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, WestEd, and the California State Board of Education with a shared mission to improve math and science outcomes for children ages 0-8 across the state of California.

PK-12 PARTNERSHIPS

Our partnerships are multi-year collaborations with schools and school districts aimed at supporting system-wide transformation through learning communities, professional development, implementation, coaching, and sustained support.

 

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS

AIMS currently provides after-school STEAM enrichment programs for over 2600 students at 35 elementary and middle school sites.

MAKING SPACES

Making Spaces is a two-year professional learning and capacity-building program designed to support local organizations in implementing maker education. The program seeks to build a foundation for lasting, embedded change in three core areas: pedagogy and practice, culture and community, and sustainability and growth.

AIMS AT HOME

We recognize that spaces outside the classroom are equally valuable and can provide dynamic learning experiences. AIMS at Home is dedicated to supporting spaces where children live as environments where collaborative and inclusive STEAM activities can and do occur.
